CAMERON THOMAS – SKI RACER
Infinity Pro are proud to be supporting Cameron Thomas, a young and up-and-coming ski racer from our local area who is competing at a national level. Aged only 14, Cameron has already been described as ‘one to watch, with a quiet determination, who let’s his skiing do the talking’.
Currently he leads both the 2012 GBR Indoor and Outdoor Race Series, following on from his success last year on the summer circuit with 2 National Championship titles, a national series win and 19 podiums out of 25 races. Prior to this in 2009, he won 6 National Championship titles and was runner-up to Tom Daley in the BBC South West Young Sports Personality of the Year Award.
Cameron, who is ranked 3rd in the UK on artificial and within the top 10 in Slalom, Giant Slalom and Super-G on snow, trains during the winter with the British Ski Academy in France. With 10 x Top 10 places in his age category last winter at the Anglo-Scottish, English, Scottish and British Championships, it’s all about steady development for Cameron. Skiing is an expensive sport in which to progress, which is why Infinity Pro are keen to support him. Fitness is crucial to Cameron’s development and he is a strong advocate for our Power Bands in raising his own sports performance.
We believe Cameron has huge sporting potential and the determination to reach top level – and we’re chuffed to be in on his journey at an early stage! Check out his website for further information – http://www.cameronthomas.co.uk and let us know if you can join us and support Cameron too!
