Over the weekend at the Brands Hatch GP circuit in Kent, yet another fault free weekend saw the Raptor racing Team of driver Tony Brown and Ryan Anderson wrap up the BEMSEE Formula 1 sidecar championship with two rounds to spare. To say they have done it in style is an understatement. With very little experience on an F1 outfit the pair have shown what potential they have. In the four races they were the first club F1 home by quite a distance and in two of the races they beat British Championship competitor Ricky Stevens and his passenger Ryan Charlwood.

World champion Tim Reeves and Tristan Reeves were also competing getting in some practice for the forecoming British round at Donington. Tony was pleased that they managed to keep him in sight for a few laps before Reeves's bike warmed up.
On the final race on Sunday Ricky Stevens led from start to finish with team Raptor following closely.

On the last lap Tony slowed so he and Ryan could enjoy crossing the line as champions also having a little celebration at the bottom of Paddock Hill.

The team have almost have enough funds to cover another round of the British Championship at the Donington BSB round in September, but Tony is looking to buy a standard engine to comply with the BSB regulations. This is the Championship the team needs to be at. With the right backing they have no doubt that they can run in the top ten of this series which is acknowledged as the best domestic championship in the world.

The Team would like to, as ever, thank everyone who has made this year possible especially Roger Wallace for having faith in the pair enabling them to get their F1 career started. As well as Infinity Pro, Tim Reeves, who practically rebuilt the bike at the start if the year, Sean Hegarty Ltd, Dean Nicholls, Micky Ryder, Maplewood Property Managment, Angela Rothwell, AMR Exhausts, Kent Oil Tanks, LStwo Crash Helmets, Rob Cameron at 151's, Ron Hardy, Ian English, Sam LLoyd and Ros and Laurie Tumber.

Both of the teams amazing families who have put up with so much and helped out massively throughout the year.

And not forgetting the amazing team that is Russell Durrant and Ross Hart who have looked after the bike, giving the team a fault free season with no Mechanical DNF's and helping them to clench the title so early.

ADDED BY SE:- Tony has asked me to add a big thank you to John Mushet for all his work with the race reports, photos and PR help this season
